I am a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of clinical experience in managing uncomplicated and high-risk Ante-partum, Intrapartum, Post-partum, level I Nursery and circulating as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for Obstetrical cases.  My clinical experience has allowed me to work in numerous hospitals, from small not-for-profit hospitals to large teaching hospitals.  I have recently completed my Masters in Nursing Education and will be transitioning to teaching maternal-child health content to undergraduate nursing students through the medium of clinical, skills lab, and clinical simulation.  I am also greatly interested in the use of clinical simulation, nursing informatics, Web 2.0 tools in education, and distance learning with a focus on virtual learning environments such as Second Life in the nursing curriculum.
